FASHION JEWELRY’ TRAINING PROGRAM FOR RURAL GIRLS at Rural Technology Park National Institute of Rural Development Rajendranagar Hyderabad INDIA in Collaboration with International Special Needs Institution Trust
Monday November 10, 2009 the International Special Needs Institution Trust of Hyderabad, INDIA and RTP-NIRD was given Fashion Jewellery free training to approximately 10 rural girls of World Vision India Organization of Warangal District Andhra Pradesh INDIA. The boarding, lodging cost of training materials and some cost related to resource person as desired by ISNI Trust were born by RTP-NIRD at Rajendera Nagar NIRD.
Objective:
The goal of program is to offer a value-driven technological based, educational and vocational training for individual’s women with special needs and disabilities who will be empowered and enabled to become more active and quasi to fully self-sustained populace.
Training proposed to be imparted to the rural youth:
The skills which can be beneficial in developing rural beneficiaries could be:
- Skill development related to Jewellery making.
- Marketing and Merchandizing.
- Creative skills enhancement.
Training Information:
The making and usage of bead jewellery is practice adopted since ancient period of history. Indian jewellery is world famous, and some of the most gorgeous ornaments from, are to be found in the jewellery lines of private Indian jewellery designers. Since then, variety of material has been used to make beads which have in turn been used make jewellery. Some of the popular kinds of beads jewellery are:
Glass bead / Shell / Metal bead / Crystal / Ceramic / Wooden bead / Pearl /Clay bead / Paper bead / Gemstone bead / Plastic bead / Bone / Horn / Ivory / Coral /Resin bead/ Seed bead /Rudraksha bead /Myrrh bead.
The training programs have been successfully completed by range of products including Necklaces, Ear rings, Rings, Anklets.
ISNI is extremely proud to announce their partnership with the National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) Ministry of Rural Development Government of India where they have set up a production unit for their jewelry in Rural Technology Park.
