Why to Spend on Online Marketing During Recession
Recession, turndown, meltdown or slowdown. You cannot spend a single day without hearing these words today. Global markets are going through a tough phase. The current economic crunch is settling butterflies in everyone’s stomach. But one should not forget that every cloud has a silver lining. Every incident is a lesson out of which a solution arises. Of course, necessity is the mother of invention. Now the markets are in front of such necessity and demanding some alternative solution to survive.
This is the time one must remember the words of the great scientist Einstein. “The energy in this world is neither created nor destroyed, it is always constant. Often the energy gets transferred from one form into another form”. The same thing can be applied to market also. Some new solution won’t come from the outer world to change the things but comes from within.
Markets have been thrived for many years so far. In this course of time, consumers are highly habituated to buy the things to fulfill their needs. It means buying the things has become a part and parcel of their lives. Now, for any reason people may not keep off their buying needs. But, following the economic slump, people wanted to postpone their buying needs. It is not the loss of interest or short of the buying capacity. This postponing aptitude is stopping the customers from visiting the stores temporarily. But the times always tend to change.
If the customers are not visiting your stores, don’t worry. Why should you always want your customers to visit your physical stores? Why don’t you reach them instead of their coming to your stores? Times have already changed for you. It is the time of enterprises to arise, awake and to realize the power of online marketing.
Don’t think that the buying capacity of the consumers got evaporated, they are just procrastinating the things. You can tap the latent potentiality of the market through online marketing. This is the best ever alternative solution to strike the market.
There are seven reasons which will strongly recommend you to go for online marketing.
1.Cost cutting maintenance is possible with online marketing. You can reduce some extent of man power while you can expand your reach and presence in the market.
2.Reach them: Customers may be procrastinating the things but their search for the products is still going on. Search engines are proving and providing this search figures which are hugely happening for number of products. Online marketing is the only source to reach them where they are searching for your products.
3.Target marketing is ever easier than never. Blanket marketing demands you more investment whereas target marketing is possible at affordable cost and it makes you find and reach your target customers easily.
4.Build Realtionship: Enterprises can maintain a constant, unbreakable and close relationship with their customers, which allow them to recognize the changing needs of their customers. This is one of the major advantages of the online marketing.
5.24X7 availability for your customers is absolutely round the clock with online marketing services.
6.Low cost for Inventory :Enterprises need not stock the products as they stock and demonstrate in physical marketing. Finding their customers need they can serve the products directly without stocking them.
7.Most convenient marketing for both enterprises and customers. And low investment and considerable to high ROI.

1:hey .. did I mentioned that this is a nicely written article .. Facts and focus on bullets improve readability .. content, grammer and size is perfect as well .. Excuse me if I was too blunt in my last remark :-)
2:Are we talking Marketing or Sales online ..
1. I see some value in using Internet as a marketing tool for technology aware demography (still less then 5% of our population). Building product awareness and providing a quick competitive advantage information is useful means to influence the buyers decision.
2. Successful sales online is still a long way off - Even the very aware demography has a trust issue with purchasing on-line.
So unless if you are marketing a very niche product like a high end Mobile Phone or the latest Laptop etc. it may not even catch eyeballs. For sales to happen always provide contact information for potential buyer to reach or for your representative to reach.

8:I think this is the most appropriate way of making the things better at the present time of recession. In my opinion, online marketing is a need rather than a trend.
