Language is consiered to be a system of communication with other people using sound, symbols and words in expressing a meaning ,idea and though. It is process every child learn from birth and we continue to use it until our death.People think in word, and without an understanding of language it would be difficult to process thoughts.
There are about 5000(five thousand) language spoken in world today.Language are linked to each other by shared words or sounds or grammatical construction.India is the home of many language.India is a avast country with lot of cultural and geographical diversities.In India about 1500(fifteen hundred) language spoken.Some of these language are accepted nationally while other are accepted as particular region.
The north indian language from the Indo-European family envolved from old Indo-Aryan such as a Sanskrit.Each language had different influence.The south-Indian(Dravidan) language had a history independent of Sanskrit.
I have some important resons ,why people need to communicating with each other:-
1>Intract Socially
->Use language and ideas appropriate to the situation.
->Respond to listeners verbal and noverbal cues,restate idea and ask question to clarify understanding .
->Use language to create image and to produce an emotional response.
->Acknowledge and be sensitive to other viewpoint.
2>Develop self-awarness
->Examine personal point of view.
->Determine what it is they need to know.
->Find effective ways of supporting their own opinions.
3>Information
->To provied essential information.
->Determine the type of Presentation necessary in order for the listeners to benefit and learn.
->Reflect to determine if their language is appropriate to their listener
Speaking is spritual gift for us.We are speaking any language reflect the faith of people on that language.All animals communicate with each other but only human have developed a language which is more than a set of preaaranged signal. So if we are speaking must be understood by other,must be with meaning,must have fluency and effectiveness.
