Performance of managers are affected by knowledge, attitude, sinceririty and health. But these all can be made more meaningful by a creative aproach. Every time when a manager faces a problem, he starts finding solutions through his past experiences. The situation may not be the same today and a new look and strategy is to be picked up. One has to do this keeping in mind to improve work environment and making people to think differently.

In my 42 years of working as manager at different levels including position of Chairman and Managing Director, I tried to inspire subordinates to attempt new solutions different from the routine and already tried. This challenge can be faced best by thinking in a creative manner. At a later stage while teaching a picked up a new technique to make classes more interactive and updated. Students are encouraged to relate current happenings and business solutions. This has been working well. They are also taught during the session the responsibilities of a good citizen which may make them a more responsible managers. Feed back from students already in job are also confirming the usefullness.
