The Samajwadi Party of Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh has decided to be the 'Baisaakhi' (crutches) of the limping Congress party. In turn, the Congress has to pay a heavy price in the form of ministerial berths and lots of promises (to waive legal disputes against the Samajwadi biggies); all just to ensure that the crutches are strong, durable and reliable.
On the other side of the fence, stands the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the proverbial hyena waits for the wounded animal to collapse!
May I ask the Indian brethren - as to - Where does the wishes and aspirations of the common Indian lie here? Has Democracy taken a last bench seat now?
Are we Indians, the sons and daughters of the soil, not to be heard? Can't we all decide once and for all that we need a strong Government who works in the interests of the nation as a whole? Or are they justified in forming alliances as per their whims and fancies?
O my dear countrymen, when will you awaken? Do you need another 175 years and more to wake upto another call of Freedom.. from the clutches of your own so-called politicians?
We have to change the law of the land. We have to cut across party lines and elect our leaders on an individual basis. There are better leaders in today's India who can give us a country of our dreams.
We are still treading on an obsolete democratic system, adopted from the old British books. Six decades are too late enough for us to change our systems with a much wider approach.
I call upon each one of you who reads my mind to wake up atleast now and call for the re-birth of India.
My priority lies with the younger generation of India who can easily adapt to a change in the Indian scenario!
So, Jaago Mere Bhaarat, Jaago.......
