WHAT IS THIS ART FORM?

All arts make use of some media and the forms. Creating out of these media & forms are by human mind. There are basically two forms. One which is easily identified or accepted such as, natural forms- trees, sky, birds, human beings and their connected scenario's perceived by normal human beings. Others are the abstract forms, which are the imaginary forms of an artist to giving expression to the forms created in his mind. It may or may not be perceived by every one, but never the less; appreciated by some section who value them for the very appealing creation.

                   What an artist exactly creates depends on his or her mood at that time. The mind on which the artist concentrates. Contours and the colours, that gives him an effect of force and satisfaction for known or unknown forms. Tickles his memory and takes him to nostalgia or to his subconscious mind and he gets a touching feeling.

                      In this art form, natural leaves and flowers are used as the basic media. With varying contours and colors, artist is playing with the natural curves and colors to give an artform. Both space and media are used to suit the creation of forms to give a feel, a touch of known and unknown movements of life.

                      No artificial colours or forms are used to perfect the forms and the core idea is to communicate with natural leaves and flowers, the normal and the abstract images.

 Beauty is in the eyes of beholder. The perception of the observer looking at the contours and the open space from different angles gives him different forms & images.

COME CLOSER

At the straight look a form of dancing body is seen. If the left and right side open spaces are observed two forms of woman and man coming closer can be seen.

LAKSHMI

You may see Goddess Lakshmi (divine form) with lotus flower held in her hands. Lotus is favorite flower of goddess Lakshmi.Also elephant head could be observed towards bottom left corner. Elephant symbolizes Lakshmi.

HIRANYAGARBHA

A female form with featus coming out shown with orange petal towards the center indicating the ecstasy…an eternal bliss.

KHAJURAHO (KAMASUTRA)

A famous posture depicted in front of the "Khajuraho temple" symbolizing love is indicated with leaves and flowers.

KATHAK

Dance forms with single lines.

BHARATNATYAM

The leg shapes in the open space between the petals shown give the famous "Bharatanatyam" dance "Mudra".

Effect of Forms

Nature is beautiful and powerful.

Mysterious as well when we look at the various forms and the creations of nature in it's splendid colours and contours.

From the first ray of light at the dawn, the colours spill in the sky with clouds with innumerable shades and clouds have innumerable contours.

 Every moment the contours and colours change making it difficult to capture. That is why, as it were, the memories of individual minds have different effects with their experiences even though nature is same to all.

 Each mind is exclusive, as it has its own inner world totally of its own.

That is why likes and dislikes are different for different people. Like the colours and contours varying at every moment in the sky of clouds, the person's mind is also ever changing with individual inner feelings and colours of his life, depending on his perception.

So colours of nature and colours of life vary with every mind every moment.

 Life is afterall that movement of moment from one to the next and the human being who can perceive the colours of nature and colours of inner landscape and submit to nature by total surrender alone can enjoy every moment and surpass the life effortlessly.

So the entire game is of colour & contours. Leaves and flowers have both colour and contours that are in abundance, colour of both leaves and flowers change, contours change from moment to moment.

An attempt is made to capture these and display as far as possible to give an effect of known and unknown forms.

Opposites exist & to get the opposite you change your perception

Rest is left to the imaginations of onlookers without boundaries for colours and contours.

There is nothing like positive and negative. It is the way you look at it.

1. One that gives you a good feeling is positive,
2. One that takes you to your goal is positive,
3. One that makes you energetic is positive,
4. One that brightens your inner self is positive,
5. One that is good for all is positive.
6. One that make you feel bad is negative,
7. One that blocks your goal is negative,
8. One that depresses & makes you weak is negative,
9. One that darkens your inner self is negative,
10. One that makes all unhappy is negative.

In this world of duality of facts & feelings, light & shadow, happiness & sorrow, success & failure, good & bad, likes & dislikes, anger & compassion, love & hatred, friend & foe, mine & your co-exist. Simplest way to get that which you want is to do the opposite of what you have done, since you have got that you have, because of what you have done. Wanting means you have not got it, since you have been doing opposite!

 This is the "Negative feed-back" for your getting stability of mind.

There is a saying in Kannada - "what Sun can't see, a poet sees."

Similarly what you don’t get out of situation, you can get from your feelings!

 Feelings or Emotions don’t depend on the situations. They depend on the way you look at the situations!

 Change the way you look at the situations & your feelings change!
