When to expect: July 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 4.5-5.5 lakhs
After launching the Beat petrol, Chevrolet will now launch the Beat diesel for the Indian market. The diesel variant is expected to launch by early 2011. The Beat should be powered by a 1.0-litre or a 1.2-litre diesel engine.
Nissan Sedan

Estimated Price: Rs 7lakh
The Nissan Micra is an important car for Nissan in India and the company has a lot resting on the success of the Micra. Nissan India have gone to great lengths by doing a lot of marketing activity in shopping malls and key consumer touchpoints to promote.
Nissan NV200

3. Nissan NV200

When to expect: Late 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 5-8lakh
Nissan could launch a MPV called NV200 for the Indian car market. Nissan plans to manufacture the NV200 in a joint venture with defence and commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland.

Tata New Safari

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd., showcased the Etios which turned out to be a headturner at the Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January 2010. While the car was not a production model, people at the Expo got a fairly clear picture of what the car would look like once it arrived by the year end.
Mahindra Mini-Xylo

When to expect: Mid 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 4-5 lakhs
Mahindra had launched its Xylo in January 2009 and now the company plans to launch a Mini-Xylo. The Mini-Xylo will be less than four metres in length and will have a diesel engine.
Audi A6

When to expect: July 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 38-47lakh (ex-showroom)
After a long wait, Audi will soon next the next-generation A6 into India. The new Audi A6 will be shorter and have a lower roofline that the outgoing model. The new-generation will have a longer wheelbase by 69mm and 80kg lighter than its predecessor.
Maruti Suzuki Swift 2011

Suzuki has recently launched the new Swift in the European market and production has begun in their Hungarian plant. Seeing the rate at which Swift’s are selling in India, the new Swift would enter the Indian car market by mid-2011.

Volkswagen had recently updated its Jetta and Passat on the engine considering the BS IV norms and the German manufacturer based in Chakan, even revised its pricing. Next year, Volkswagen will launch an all new Jetta, which will be based on the Golf platform.

Volkswagen had unveiled the second-generation of the Touareg at 2010 New York International Auto Show. With the Volkswagen Touareg being a CBU, even India will get the 2011 Touareg once its launched in the European market.

Skoda Laura RS

13. Skoda Laura RS

When to expect: September 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 15-17lakh
Skoda plans to get their super performer the Laura RS (known as the Octavia RS in international markets). The Laura RS has a 2.0TSI engine which produces a whooping power of 200bhp and was seen in India at the performance show November 2009 in Mumbai and even at the Auto Expo'10 in New Delhi.
Skoda Rapid

Estimated Price: Rs 8-10 lakhs
At the Skoda Fabia launch, Mr. Thomas Kuehl had made the announcement that Skoda has increased the local content on the Fabia to a total of 40% and now the company aims to make a completely localized car. The company has began work on it and they are designing a car specifically for the Indian car
Hyundai Elantra

When to expect: Late 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 11-14lakh
The 2011 Elantra a.k.a the Avante was unveiled at the Busan Auto Show in South Korea and now will be soon seen in India. We spotted the car during its test runs and we expect the all new sedan to hit the Indian roads in the later half of 2011.
Renault Duster

Estimated Price: Rs 7-9lakh
Renault has moved out of the Logan pact with Mahindra and the company has now officially announced that they will bring two of their cars to the Indian Market. One among the SUVs would be the Renault Duster. The Dacia Duster so to say is a funky looking SUV and one of the cheapest in the world.
Renault Koleos

When to expect: Late 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 17-20lakh
Renault’s latest Compact SUV will enter the Indian Markets soon. The Renault Koleos was first introduced to the Indian crowd in the Delhi Auto Expo. The car was quiet the crowd puller and Renault mentioned that they did think that the car was received well then.
Chevrolet Spark Electric

Estimated Price: Rs 3.5-5lakh
GM India is ready to make public the electric version of its entry level small car, the Chevrolet Spark.

The Spark will feature two electric versions, one with a conventional lead acid battery and another with more expensive lithium ion batteries.
Fiat Bravo

Estimated Price: Rs 18-25 lakh (estimated)
The Fiat Bravo is Fiat's new small family car that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2007. The car was designed by the Fiat style centre and Austrian automotive company Magna Steyr was involved in engineering most of the car’s body and fittings.

When to expect: Late 2011
Estimated Price: Rs 7-9 lakh
The Fiat Linea is expected to undergo a facelift by the end of this year. The new Linea is likely to have new front and rear bumpers, new head lamps and tail lamps, new front fender and possibly a new boot lid. Apart from that, the interiors of the Linea will change as well.
Ford Fiesta

With Volkswagen coming in full swing, Skoda aims to expand its portfolio in India. Skoda has given a facelift to the Fabia and very soon the Yeti will be launched. In 2011, Skoda plans to launch the Fabia Scout, the estate version of the Fabia.

Chevrolet plans to launch four new cars in 2011 and the Chevrolet Sail is one of them. The Sail is the first GM car that is designed and developed completely in China. This has helped GM to bring down its development cost.
Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire

27. Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire

When to expect: Early 2012
Estimated Price: Rs 5-7lakh
Maruti Suzuki isn’t just getting the new generation Swift, but it will also launch the sedan version of the Swift in the latter half of this year. The engines on the DZire will remain the same – 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre DDiS.
Renault Small Car

Estimated Price: Rs 6 lakh
Renault and Nissan share the same plant in Chennai to manufacture their cars for the Indian car market. The two automakers have a global joint-venture to share their technology as well. Renault now plans to launch a new small car, which will be based on the Micra platform.

Audi A8 4.2 TDI

When to expect: Early 2012

Fiat India is likely to get a small car that will be a segment below the Grande Punto and it will compete with the likes of Indica. There has been speculation that the Italian manufacturer will get back its old horse – the Palio – with new interiors.

Land Rover and other SUVs have been known as gas guzzlers. So, the Range Rover Evoque is Land Rover’s first step to reduce the carbon footprint of its vehicles. The Evoque is a compact utility vehicle and is the first hybrid vehicle in the Land Rover range.
Audi Q3

The Q3 will be the smallest Audi ‘Q’ model and it will compete with the likes of the BMW X1. This will be Audi's premium SUV in a compact form. The Audi Q3 will cost something similar to the BMW X1 and is expected to be launched something early in 2012.
