Just sharing a good idea because some friends want to know
I am planning a big project for December 2008. It is a peace conference here in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Just wanted to share how I got into it in the first place
it started as a seminar that I planned on India-Pakistan relations last year but then friends encouraged me to think bigger as such seminars make no difference.

The problem is that I am a professor who is only interested in academics but also feel that I have to do more than just write on peace, which I do anyways.
In just one sentence. One thing led to another and now trying to arrange a conference

the problem is money, of course.

I have been promised that.

BTW that is not the biggest problem, however.
Then, getting people from India over to Pakistan
a very big headache because of the tension between India and Pakistan now
we are planning an initial preparatory meeting in May for the event
