ORIGINAL THOUGHT
Wednesday 17th, September 2008
This is one of my  real experience that i gonna share with all of you guys.In my college days our teacher organized a blog competition.These blogs has to be posted on our college website.Our teacher even appointed a BLOG GURU to judge this.The best blogger will receive a grand prize .As usually we are up to the task and try to be the best blogger in the class.

All the student have written blogs on various topics .For example some related to their homeland,laughter therapy,advantage of code less programming over coded  programming ,terrorist activities on major cities,so on and so forth.

 There are certain instruction given to us regarding this competition.That the blogger should not copy  content from the net.Every blog should have its own originality.And the originality of the blog have to be clarified by the BLOG GURU.And the blog which will receive plenty of comments along with it originality will won the competition.

 We all have participated with great enthusiasm as the prize was a suspense one.So we all wrote a blog  and waited for the day when the best blogger has to be chosen. Eventually the day came when the result has to be announced.We all waited eagerly for the result.

 Finally the BLOG GURU came and announced the result.We are surprised or say like we are shocked by the result.All the blogger who have posted their blog does
not pass the originality test the BLOG GURU has rejected the blog in which he found a a para or subject have been copied from the net. We became very disappointing with this.And also a little bit of angry with the judge.

But as we know that every competition have a champion.So finally the judge announced a name .The name was unknown to us .Later we come to know that the winner was a 5yrs child of a student in our college who wrote something about his parents.It is single line.

I love my parents very much.They are like God to me.

And his subject was GOD AND OUR PARENTS we all get stunned by this .But we came to know a cruel truth that the originality comes from a Clear and Purified Mind its comes from Deep Within The Heart.

 The only reason that this blog has won was that who ever has seen the blog remembered their parents and commented about what their parents mean to them.

The message that I am trying to convey was that our parents have spend their whole life in giving us comfort and all happiness.

How often do we remember them?

I WILL BE VERY HAPPY IF YOU LEAVE YOUR COMMENT ABOUT YOUR PARENTS AND HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THEM

In a child's world parents are everything ,giving them love and security almost like god.When one grows old parents become a thing of the past and pass into oblivion.Even then there are occasions when memories of parents make a flash appearence and takes you back in time to remind us of their love and affection. Here is one such flash that occured to me.

My meditation guru - My dad

A calm state of mind

By meditation by ways

Bhakti Japa or Hatha yoga

Did never work for me.

My roving eyes do not shut

Even for a little while.

Forget about focusing them

Between eye brows two.

How to calm my agitated mind

And be at piece with myself?

I pondered deep on ways

That would suit me fine.

Seek a guru, the scriptures say;

And gurus these days

Do not come so cheap.

Jasmine in one’s own backyard

Lacks fragrance fine;

So goes a maxim Malayalam.

So I turned to turf at home

And saw a photo of my father dear.

A simple man was he

And with abilities too modest

To hold ambitions great.

His foot prints not to be seen

In any sands of time.

I recalled his day’s routine

And the mundane tasks he did.

Lover of cooking and a master cook;

How he cut the vegetables fine,

An envy of a student of Botany.

The kitchen he kept

So orderly and clean

As that of a chemist renowned.

His clothes he cleaned

And let hang for a dry,

Spotless white

And crisp as an A4 paper sheet.

How in summers hot

He cut for us mangoes sweet.

With skin neatly peeled

To rid of hard and bitter feel.

The pieces cut in plates arranged

For us kids for a hearty bite;

He drank this scene

Of sight of us eating with joy.

He bound books for us

At beginning of year at school.

A sight to see that we watched in glee!

How he cut the paper straight

And covered the books with tender care.

We held them and smelled them

And liked the feel of the corners sharp;

An envy of our mates at school.

I remember his face

At all these tasks

Focused well with eyes so keen;

The visage of his

No less fine

Than of Michel Angelo

Chiseling out his Pieta.

A man low of rank,

Who knew not how to meditate.

At one’s task with dedication

To reach perfection

May be, his trick to meditation.

Love for parents can't be expressed by word it's always felt in heart.Exactly in the same way posting of comment on blog can't be taken as a parameter to showcase "how much we love our parents"
