A lesson from pigeons

With my wife I was on a sunday evening shopping. While she was busy purchasing ,I was watching the pigeons in the kabuterkhana near the shop.It was just a small area with a fountain in the centre . People were feeding grains.There were a large number of pigeons feeding on them. Many would land on the rim of the fountain to have a sip of water. I might have spent about 15 minutes watching them. Considering the pigeons' penchant for soiling the perches of buildings with their droppings, the cleanliness of the place without any human intervention was surprising. There were no droppings of the pigeons anywhere near the feeding area or on the fountain.I saw none of the pigeons defecating during the time I spent watching. I admired the pigeons for their sense of cleanliness around their feeding area . This behaviour of pigeons can put to shame even members of the Homo sapiens . I learnt a lesson form the pigeons.
