" The Feelings I Had Watching Slumdog Millionaire"

Financial Managem...
A difficult category to put this one into but l chose miscellaneous as what l want to share is feelings, from words.

Last night l watched a film called " Slumdog Millionaire " it had been raved about and to be fair l only listened tentatively to the blurb and reviews, but having watched it l can see not just how it gained such reviews but that it tells a deep but overpowering story of life in Mumbai and not just for the poor. These feelings l had changed my views and how l saw things in me the next morning, but most of all how lucky l am to live in a country like England.

Oh l was never rich or poor but l had a life that was compared to Jamal pretty normal. So by now you are asking yourself, why have l decided to tell anyone about this on a blog.

Well you maybe can help me to understand just a little more of your cultural heritage. This is not to give me a greater insight on how l can help those people like Jamal to grow-up having a better life but to enable me to let more people know the why it seemed so unfair that this boy grew up even having his own people including the police force try to find a way to see him as a liar, cheat or worst. Maybe to do this you have to see the film first or you have already and have formed an opinion of your own, please share it with me?

At this point l must point out that l am by nature an emotional man and l do not suffer fools gladly usually getting angry at unfairness and inequality, but tonight it changed to tears l just cried. the part that elicited this response was when l learned a great lesson, never think you know why? As with all game-shows l have always thought it was for money people enter but this young man Jamal entered for love and to let his estranged girlfriend since childhood see him on TV and they could be re-united once again.

It happened as he wanted and they were, just like the movies you say, but for just one thing l would agree if he had not known the answers to the questions he would not have met her again but it was the last question, at the right time that clinched it and not a second before hand. Just like life not the movie`s they are just a circumstance bringing people together at the right time with feelings.

Like l said it changed my life like no film l had ever seen before and for the first time in my life l believed totally in something much great than I. Please watch it and tell me your feelings l will add them all to my blogger network and maybe we can share what l feel with other people ?

Bye for Now.
