A positive addiction is a beneficial habit--where the benefits outweigh the costs. A negative addiction is a detrimental habit—where the benefits are not worth the negative financial, physical, spiritual and mental costs.

In our day to day activities we are running to have an edge over competition, to relax ourselves from workloads or work pressures and to satisfy our lifestyle & needs. Due to which we are exposed to several negative addictions/use to. These addictions are smoking, high intake of alcohol, lesser diets, spending beyond earnings, maintaining high standard of living.

Addictions may be negative or positive all are in our control but as i am highlighting “The new age of addictions- EMI-P.”

What EMI-P stand for? Easy monthly Installments-Paid – No, the correct answer is Electricity, Mobile, Internet and Petrol.

Definitely EMI-P provided us a vital edge & support in time saving, communication flow, speedy work, flow of information & news, developing ourselves/groups/countries, but we are now use to of these or more often you can say we are addicted to these.

Just a point i want to raise- “Can you live & how you feel a single day without EMI-P?”

How EMI-P will affect our life if usage is not for one day? What are positive and negative facing of that day?

Negative points - No household equipments will work, extra labour of us-kapde kudh saaf karne padenge, haath se pankha hilana padega, paidal chalna padega or bicycle chalani padegi, no TV so disconnect from entire world, news & information flow will stop, unable to communicate, office main koi kaam nahin. We will find ourselves miserable and will face a scenario of 40-50’s. In a single day we will loose charm and our at least 30-40 yrs.

Positive points – That day will be ours, no burden, no competition, meeting old friends, thoda ghupshup ho jaye, mauj masti, no fear of superiors, time to spend with family, a fresh air flow to body and mind to think differently.

This single day will take us to understand WHICH IS THE BIGGEST ADDICTION IN TODAYS LIFE? WHAT WE ARE LOOSING? WHAT WE ARE GAINING?

Just think and you will find answer of NEW AGE OF ADDICTION- Is it smoke/alcohol/work/competition or EMI-P?
