Causes:
1)Implantation bleeding:
Due to tissue that sorrounds egg attached to endometrium & slowly eats its way in to lining.
2)Miscarriage:
Abortion.
3)Ectopic pregnancy:
Pregnancy in Fallopian tube. It may burst causes pain & bleeding.
4)Molar pregnancy:
Growth of abnormal tissue in stead of embryo.
5)Inflammation of Cervix:
When cervix is inflammed due to infection.
6)Growth on cervix.
7)Placental Abruption:
Placenta may detach from Uterine wall before or during labour.
8)Placenta Previa:
When placenta lies low in the Uterus, it may partly OR completly cover the cervix. This is called placenta previa. It is a very serious condition.
9)Hydatidform Mole:
It is an abnormal form of pregnancy.
It may develop in to Chorio-carcinoma, a form of cancer.
Under all circumstances immediate Obst. & Gynaecological treatment should be done.
