Oh Politicians!
As you are thinking to levy “Flush Tax”,
In future, you may tax even the earwax…
Instead,
Tax those, who falls in love
Tax those, who falls out of love
Tax those, who searches for love
Tax those, who craves for love
Tax those, who loves to love
Tax those, who hates to love
Tax those, who glorifies the love
Tax those, who vilifies the love
Tax those, who reads about love
Tax those, who writes about love
Tax those, who comments about love
And your coffers will be
overflowed with dough
In a one go...
For,
It is not the elusive dark matter that keeps
universe falling apart,
But the mysterious love that
stays in every human’s heart.
So,
Tax the love
fill your trove.
PS: I read in a news paper that politicians are planning to levy a flush tax. More you flush, more you pay the tax. So this poem took birth in my mind.
