Kids Furniture to Foster Imagination

It has been proven that a baby’s environment plays a huge impact on its brain development, creativity, and promotes early learning.  That is why it is so important to take time to consider how to decorate your baby’s nursery before bringing him home from the hospital.  Babies respond very well to soft muted colors, such as pastel blue, pink, yellow, and purple, because there are soothing and calm to observe, while still stimulating.  You don’t have to stick to the standard colors of pink for girls and blue for boys.  In fact, the color green has been shown to foster creative performance in babies and toddlers and instills a rapid growth factor in their personalities.

Also, the images and themes you decide to put on the nursery wall also affect your baby’s mood.  No wonder most parents favor whimsical murals and sweet and gentle wall decals, such as a smiling half-moon, animals with friendly faces, and certain scenes from favorite fairy tales.

If your child has a great, inspirational environment as a baby, he will be fortunate to have a strong foundation of natural curiosity and quick learning that will continue onto later years.  At the age of eight months, babies will begin to observe images, including their own reflections in the mirror and watch their facial expressions.  Then onwards to ten months, you child will initiate to make believe their own games, using everyday household items to create their own toys.  Then around fifteen months, babies will learn about human interactions, mostly by imitating what they see and hear from their parents.  But what better way to encourage children with their innovations than by providing them a bedroom that is designed to do so?

Little girls that want to live in their dream fantasy castle can choose from several princess style beds with canopies and crown decals.  When not sleeping, she can enjoy a tea party with her stuffed animals on a miniature wicker table and chair set.  And for the rough and rugged boys, there are plenty of sporty cool beds, side tables, and desks.  There are racecar beds, baseball beanbag chairs; any of his favorite activities can be seen in the furniture selections.  Every child is unique, and deserves a bedroom just as special as them.
