Correct, Children should be given freedom to choose their line of interest but they need direction , guidance and grooming. Due to vast choices available these days, many times they are not even aware of their real capabilities and intersts. Another they may be intersted in one thing but it is possible that their capability lies is something else. Parents have a big role to play here. They need to completely involve themselves in child's intersts and also need to educate themselves on the options avaialble for their children.
