It is scorching summer in the Northern part of our country. with 48 degrees all one can plan on a holiday is to watch a movie. I am no exception and as any homo sapien would have done i thougt of watching the two Saif starrer movies with cool comments, Race and Tashan on home theatre ( don ask that silly question.. did u get the original prints?, coz the answer is no).

Frankly speaking, i liked Race and hated tashan except the few try to laugh scenes by Akki.

But i am not writing to give u guys a review on the flicks rather, they made me think.. somewhere while watching the movie sumthn tickled in my mind, and i thot of sharing it with u all.

India, the country of youth, youngistan is loving movies without morale, without ethics,without selflessness in love. We were known in the world for moral, ethics,love which was selfless... and lo!! i see the new india (definetly that includes Me...) enjoying , praising and liking the protogonists of the plot.

It has always been said that movies are depiction of the society we live in, that means , the people in race and tashan exists, and exist in us.

Amitabh Bacchan portrayed an anti hero image who was a victim of various situations , but the characters potrayed by saif, akshay,anil or the ladies bipasha,katrina or kareena are all anti by choice. Is our socity really moving towards the moral and ethical downfall?

is talking about all these too "Old Fashioned", "Not Cool".

I think as new indians it becomes our responsibility to set up an example, to make youngistaan a place of fun, happiness and joy instead of lust, envy and greed.
