(1-4 of 8)So You Are Frustrated Now! What'S Next?
So what's next?
My suggestion: follow the steps mentioned below, which I did and brought my senses back, for a cool and deep thought -- ultimately, finding out an acceptable solution.
1. Accept that it's your own creation
Most of the time, it is!
However, whether you are actually responsible for the situation or not is immaterial, but an acceptance makes your response to in-built problem solving mechanism stronger than usual.
2. Believe in yourself
Look deep within and start believing that you can, and surely can, find out a solution -- raising your self-confidence level.
The more you feel confident, more resources for identifying appropriate solution would start appearing from nowhere, generating viable alternatives.
3. Develop a supporting attitude
Bring down your expectation of situations and of people, and soften your ego - being down-to-earth - while looking for a solution.
The degree of frustration is directly proportional to your expectations level, and with a tamed ego you can identify better alternatives.
4. Accept difficult situations as learning opportunities
Consider every difficult situation as an opportunity to learn: what works and what not, engraving the learning in your belief system, for ensuring a better response next time.
5. Identify the root cause to reduce the occurrences
Look back and identify, if a better action in the past would have helped reduce the current flare-up and take appropriate actions.
