Fraudulent businesses plague the market
Tuesday 18th, November 2008
The number of fraudulent practices in business is multiplying by the dozen. Going with the recessionary trends, some businesses like marriage bureaus, matrimonial sites, job sites and job consultants are cheating people across the board. I get umpteen calls from job agents, consultants and sites like Job Street, Monster, Times Jobs who make it a point to mis-match job credentials and the job required. Some female consultants even go to the extent of expressing their loss, in case the candidate gets placed.

Even matrimonial sites like Simply Marry, Bharat Matrimony and Jeevan Saathi etc make it a point to crowd your inbox with all the rejects of the world. I remember getting a host of under 25s as prospects, when I clearly set my required match at 34-39 years. This was with a popular site like Simply Marry.com. Which means that they are not pleased if you find your perfect match, even though you've paid for the services.

The scenario is getting murkier by the day and the recession looks like a God send to check the advance of such cheats. No wonder India is the most corrupt nation in the world!!! I hope with all my heart that these cheap businesses get wiped out and a new emerging, positive trend sees the light of day.
