Popularity vs reality
Tuesday 30th, September 2008
What we generally perceive as good need not be so. I know many IITians & Harvard graduates who are virtually crooks and fraudulent people. They think that it is being smart, but perhaps they are oversmart and not good for anybody. Most of such people are overrated and they go to any extent to prove their worth and maintain their status. Mostly it is by rigging and wrecking other people's lives and careers. Then they appear as saviors once the damage is done. What a waste of effort, time and precious thought. You have to be wary whom you are dealing with and mere credentials won't do the trick. I have, over the years, rejected partnerships with such thugs, although their credentials are outstanding. Populist ideologies are the most misdirected as they are only dictated by numbers. Such heroes are devils in disguise as is the case with Mr Bill Gates, who has made it a business to grab other people's businesses and call them his own. I have seen most Harvard graduates follow the same principle and they keep grabbing other people's properties, identities and making a quick buck. Other managers and highly placed people also do not stop them, as they have too much clout. These practices should be stopped and such trouble makers should be taught a lesson or two.
