They never win
Thursday 16th, October 2008
It is important to analyse why things go wrong and look for pro-active measures to contain the wrongdoings. There are many things going wrong at the Indian workplace and not one or two but masses of people are responsible. Eg 1.secretaries. I have a huge dislike of secretaries. They slog very hard but are never given the respect that they yearn for. These same women never let you contact their bosses even if the matter is most urgent and even if the boss wants to talk to you. They will put away your call or keep asking you to call later and in effect this never works as you never can get hold of the person that you have to meet. In Reliance we had a very irritating secretary who would just keep grabbing away all our work, even when she was not allocated the job. NObody questioned or confronted her. She just kept at her wrongdoings and was immune to criticism.

2. JOb consultants: THese are really the most annoying after sales personnel. THey never give the right details and timings and most of them take pleasure in misguiding  and misleading you. They don't realise that they will get a huge compensation if they help us to get the job. They try everything possible to prevent you from doing so.

3. Close associates: Close friends are so petrified of letting the opportunity go to you, that they try their level bes to get in your way and grab away what is rightfully yours. Many of my friends do that and claim that they are very intelligent in doing so.

4. Rejected proposals: Men who you have rejected often become the real offenders as they take grea pains to show you down. I have personally rejected many idiots whom I thought were misfits and they have really ruined my life as revenge seekers.

Keeping all this and other factors in mind, it is becoming nearly impossible to survive at work and keep working against these miscreants.
