Let\'s grow with Nisha and Joe
Friday 19th, September 2008
The British children's will now have sex education as a part of their curriculum from the age of six in the form of the comic character Nisha and Joe.In this comic through Nisha and Joe teacher will be able to explain different body parts of boy and girl which are not same .

British Parents are not happy ,according to them at such an early age this differntiation will hamper their innocence. But british government is determined to start this education at the age of six.I think age at which sex education should start ,vary according to the geography. If British government thinks that the age of six is right, there is an obvious reason for that because if you see the stats you will find by the age of 15 year most of the British experience sexual intercourse,so looking that age of six is right.

In terms of Indian prospective age 10-11 year is right for sex education. It's high time Indian government should force this into school curriculum even if parents don't agree.I don't know what is wrong in knowing what is the anatomy and physiology of opposite sex through proper education rather learning it through dirty magazines which often mislead. And this eventually lead to sex crime and  STD(sexually tranmitted disease).

Still a good family in India feels sex topic as a taboo.Still a boy form respected family (as they pretends) wants a virgin bride. No matter he himself would have gone through sexual intercourse several time ,and mind you it's not that these guys are having sex only with sex worker ,a lot of them enjoy this with their girlfriends too(of course majority of them are never going to marry her). All this is happening due to lack of sex education in India. Here, sex means fun for youngster and for elders something to be talked about only in bedroom.

Sex is the requirement of the body just like eating or breathing.Do we say we will eat only if my wife cooks? It doesn't mean that we should not be faithful to each other.Infact,if we understand that sex is just requirement, other aspects are more important in our life partner and we should respect that,we will be ultimately more loving and fatithful partner to each other all throughout the life.

I think first the parents of India will have to grow and then only the children of India can learn that'Let's grow with Nisha and Joe'.
