Recently saw the movie " Invictus" , based on how Nelson Mandela inspired his country rugby team and used the occassion of Rugby world cup which was going to be held at South Africa to reunite his country.The world cup was eventually won by South Africa even though they were not favorite. So, once again we can say " Battles are won by inspired team and not by the best team".

Another event of this kind is happening not too far from India , i.e. Afghanistan". They have qualified for T20 World Cup to be held at West Indies , and they are in the group with India and South Africa.

Forget about their winning , 2 years before they were graded as fifth tier team for international cricket by ICC.And now they are going to play previous T20 World champions.

This is big achievement for a team from the country which is always heard for terrible things happening there.Most of the players of this team practise in refugee camp.

Now what made South Africa to win Rugby World Cup and Afghanistan to qualify for T20 world Cup. And what made India to so happily lose in Hockey World Cup 2010.

Answer is simple, in the previous both occassion team were playing with the reason showing the other world that their country is great. And who did this " A Leader".

Why didn't this happened in case of Indian Hockey team because it really doesn't matters to the country if they lose, yes if they win it's fine.In a way it's not the face of the country.

How many times we see an Indian political leaders come out and meet with these Captains, inspire them to win for their country. I can't remember that even in the case of cricket.

They only meet if the team has won somewhere or if the individual do well, or maximum in parliament they will stand and tell one line, saying congrats.

Now, cricket world cup is coming in India, we want to India Team to win it.We have to inspire the guys , we have to be behind them , so that they can fight that tough moment on field. We have to make them feel that they are our representative to the whole world.If they loses , we will lose.

Instead of throwing stones on our players after something bad happens , we should inspire them before to do that extra.Come on India wake up, we have to make our team " A Champion".

We don't want a hypothetical film like " Chak De India ". We want a real history for our childrens , so that they can carry it forward and make India proud many more times.
