Have you ever lost your temper? Did you yell and scream or want to hit someone?

Anger is a corroding emotion. however, used well, it can become a great source of energy and a source of self-awareness.

Anger is “an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and rage”

The eyes glint with tears. And then there are those milder forms of anger that most of us experience daily – irritation, annoyance, frustration. Either way, we all recognize anger. We have seen its myriad faces in our own lives. And most of us also realize that once a full-blown rage is expressed and subsides, all we are left with is emptiness, remorse, guilt, and sometimes even broken relationships. And if that’s not enough, frequent bouts of anger or unexpressed resentment can harm our body. Recent studies show close links of anger with serious health issues like cancer and heart diseases and also minor problems like headache and acidity. So much to lose, so little to gain – and yet many of us are angry too often.

There is a direct connection between being constantly angry, competitive, and aggressive, and early heart disease. For example, recent research suggests that men who have poor anger management skills are more likely to suffer a heart attack before age 55 than their more emotionally controlled peers. A separate study indicated that older male subject's hostility ratings (how hostile and irritable they tend to act towards others) predicted heart disease more accurately than other known risk factors including cholesterol, alcohol intake, cigarette smoking and being overweight. we can over come the anger by Meditation Breathing Relaxation Techniques, Laughter! ,Forgiveness

"Medition" is training for the mind; to calm the noise in our mental space, to lower our thought count, to draw out inner wisdom, and mostly it helps us to recognize and remain anchored in our divine state.

Breathing Relaxation Techniques: Most of us are shallow breathers, and air only stays in the top of our lungs. Deep breathing exercises will get more oxygen into our brains, and into the rest of our body.

Laughter! We cannot laugh and be upset at the same time. When we make the physical movement required to laugh or smile, we instantly feel light-hearted and joyful.

Forgiveness For my little vindictive rascals out there, I know the idea to forgive your ‘enemy’ sounds counter-intuitive. The longer you hold on to the grudge, the more painful emotions you will experience, the more turbulence you are putting on your body, the more damage you are inflicting on your long-term health and wellness.Unable to forgive someone is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. And there’s no way around it.

Never getting angry is impossible. Instead, but. Don't let anger be the boss of you. Take charge of it!
