"Attitude can be changed - and, like our state of mind, is just a matterof how we think about things. A change in attitude, without anyapparent change in skills or behavior, can result in quantumimprovements in performance."
--- Harry Alder

"A team based environment demands that you make responsible decisions;it requires you to take charge of your career. It requires you todevelop excellent interpersonal skills because you have to interact ata much different level with your team members. No longer is it just youand your job!"
--- Catherine Pulsifer

"When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thinline between being brilliantly creative and acting like the mostgigantic idiot on earth. So what the hell, leap!"
--- Cynthia Heimel
"Oftentimes it's far better to have an open mind than be a person who isknowledgeable and yet has the tendency to be narrow minded. People whoknow a lot of facts tend to brag, be judgmental and oftentimes assumethey know everything. They seem to project a feeling of supremacy andthe power that goes along with it and cannot stoop down to people thatare not equally mentally stimulating. They seem almost academic intheir thinking.

An open minded individual may have limited knowledge or technical knowhow but is open to embrace and munch on as much as life has to offer. They tend to learn from life and apply the knowledge to their own lifeand seem to be very understanding and have a friendly attitude. VeryHuman!

So which one are you?"

I have observed how people react violently or awkwardly towards a lotof issues. As for me I try to just welcome thoughts, differences, ideologies etc., but am sad that those who have matured and really knowa lot, think so narrow. I have limited academic wisdom but I think itdoesn't matter. I share my thoughts and welcome the individuality ofpeople. I respect their thoughts and hopefully, at some point, we getto share knowledge and compromise.

At least 98% of the things people complain about are things they can do something to change."

I've always liked quotes. This, I'm sure, is one of a combination ofmany I've read and thought about at work or during times where I've hadto face problems in my life. I really believe it's 100% that we canchange by doing something other than complaining about our problems.I've just always left a grey area there when I've told other people thequote.
"In life you have to make decisions; some are easy. Some are difficult - these are the ones that decide who you are."
