why we have so many branches in engineering with most abandoning the main stream of specialisation eg to IT?

Why is it the manufacturing industry is shy to develop the same aggressive approach in in -campus/off campus survey and recruitment ,to snatch the bright graduates into the main stream manufacture/R&D jobs?

Why cant they equip the institutes with their latest equipment and offer training and lure them away from the mad IT rush and the sad attrition soon after?

will the CII talk about this?

How long do we buy things stamped ' made in china'?

will this remain a cry in wilderness?
