what are we doing to our country
Saturday 06th, September 2008
have we sold our country to our politicians & business people ? does anyone bother to look around & see  if we have enough green ( forest or agriculture ) land around us ? is it necessary to develop the already developed or developing places or areas ?why can,t we put pressure on govt. to distribute  it,s  industrial growth incentives to the places which are far  far way backward & still looking at distance places for their needs ?

why all the development in some parts of some select cities ? why large parts of central & south eastren india & rajasthan still lie back in 18th century ? why can,t govt. plan the growth of industry in these areas & give all the promotions their instead of wasting precious agriculture land in industry & housing?

what will happen in couple of next years ? short supply of all agri. products.  famine & then what ?

let industrialists develop the areas which are barren( non fit for agri. production & see what happens.

THINK IT OVER PLZ.

I was keenly watching TV on the day the nuclear deal was debated in the parliament. The parliamentary debates have sunk to a low level and often the real issues are almost ignored. The following lines are my impressions on the same and God alone save us.

An infallible equation

Assuming sense in leaders chosen

Indian voters sat glued to TV

To know about the nuclear deal

Straight from the horses’ mouths.

The sitting PM made it known

That without the deal all the gains

Are bound to go down the drain .

But he explained not steps what is 1,2,3.

To simplify for us simple Indians

A potential PM tried his hand

By taking recourse to a lamp and a pond.

But knew not how simplistic it rang.

An MP ,ready to wait for his turn as PM

In hilarious manner told what he knew,

Which of course was not much ,but enough

To make all MPs and his cows grin in glee.

An ageing MP, eager PM aspirant since ages

Was like Quixote in arms against the deal.

He missed not utter name of Ram many a time.

Good for all indians and for his future too.

Be happy, India is not drained of brains;

We have MPs to explain any deal by equation

MPs a + rupees b = MPs (a + c )

So lucid and infallible as E = mc2 .
