One day it so happened we all girls entered the bus and the mischievious friends of ours who happened to be boys sat in the so called ladies seat which any normally vacates when he realises that a woman is staring at him.But we with all our vanity bags in our hand and vanity in our mind signalled them to leave the seat for us.The boys also with the equal pride without even moving an inch questioned us back "You ladies need equality and this board also.??"

In fact though they were quite mischievious just to return us whatever we argue in the debate or casually ,they were sweet enough to save us from the staring people around.I just meant we girls got the seat which was meant for ladies.

But that time there were no points framed to put in front of them for their question. But now also I'm sure there are enough number of boys who really feel girls are treated better than boys and boys have all worries and responsibilities.

But I feel the reservation in public transport and in the places where the safety of woman needs to be considered the board 'for ladies.'Just few points to those who make faces at this 'board' my friends are discussing on this incident now and I am writing it out for you.

1)The modern elite ladies who need not fight for equality because they are equally capable(in fighting also) as any boy of her classmate boy says 'we don't need the board'.The announcement in the metro 'we request all ladies, handicapped and aged people etc etc...do so and so'.They feel ashamed to see this board.

2)The ladies who believe that Indian ladies cannot fight against male species are strongly defending we do need the 'board'.

3)If an old aged man comes with his walking stick and doesn't find any seat and even the handicapped seat is filled then does it look nice to see some young girls sit and enjoy the comfort of 'for ladies board'.

4)One madam here who has recently mothered a pretty girl baby says when she was heavily pregnant and travelling in the government bus the comfortably seated men and women are not even moving an inch.

5)For some here the ladies compartment which is normally kept at the rear end of the train find it better to travel in the train howmuchever it is crowded.May be because though there is a fight for the place in ladies compartment they feel it OK to fight with the same though not all can fight equally.

6)A beautiful friend of mine is so concious that whenever she enters the bus all start staring and she feels the boards are doing a good job by making this scene little shorter.

7)At last now the girls and boys are all about disperse after a very short tea break. The reservation in the parliament and other posts didn't get even a single positive support. She wonders if there is a reservation for Indian president's post too.She just acted Pratibha Patils 'ghoonghat' covered shakal as India's new daugther in law.

Anyway my small question was a good timepass for my friends.Hope its the same for you.

At last 'what to do with the board?'.Let us remove it or have it??

1:In Gujarath I have not seen such boards, similarly in Mumbai. Our culture always respects women and that is all. These reservations, quota etc are all made by us to discriminate ourselves. Why as a society we should seperate.
