Notes from book Cut-outs_Caste_&_Cine_Stars
Saturday 06th, September 2008
Good points learned from this book are as following:
1)Periyar\'s work helped in removing the caste prefix from each person\'s name.
If not, each of us today would have the caste as part of our name. This would have made us more narrow-minded and thus adding more troubles to that is already existing.

2)Kamaraj\'s work helped in building schools & in providing electricity to the villages.
If not, today there would be more uneducated people from villages. This would have kept the village people stuck to their parent\'s place & to their parent\'s profession and thus again keeping them more narrow-minded & adding more troubles to that is already existing.

3)MGR\'s work helped in introducing noon-meals for students in schools.
If not, today there would be more child-labourers who would have remained uneducated through out their life.
