DIVISIVE BUDGET FOOLS NO ONE
Saturday 01st, March 2008

The finance minister has presented a truly a populist and vote bank budget encouraging divisive politics. It is true that the Farmers needed help, but how many of them who truly required are going to benefit from this? Most of the farmers who committed suicide or are in trouble are those who took loans from PRIVATE sources and lenders. These group are totally OUT of this largesse!! Those who were influential enough to get loans from nationalised banks ONLY are going to benefit from this!! This 'wave off'-was the mistake which has lead to the down fall of so many cooperative banks all over India. Let the figure come out as to how many of the really poor farmers actually are on this list or are able to get the loans from the nationalised banks even today. These is to create a large rural base for the congress party alone by detrimental policy which will make more really poor farmers commit suicide when he sees that his efforts to really pay back has not been rewarded but those who were influential to begin with, near and dear to the local netas who had managed the loans from the nationalised banks then, never made any efforts to repay, are debt free today. INSTEAD HE SHOULD HAVE GONE FOR STEPS TO EASE AGRICULTURE SCIENTIFICALLY AND GIVING ALL TECHNICAL HELP ACCORDING TO THE FARMERS REQUIREMENTS.

The salary sector citizens has no benefit at all by the raise of the income tax slab to 1.5 lacs,as the sixth pay commission is going to raise their income to more than 75% and inflation will eat up the income with them paying MORE Tax next march. Instead of having a policy to integrate all the future citizens to study in a common minimal schools where all the facilities computers and gadgets can be shared with equality as Indians, UPA governement has given specific divisive grants to madrasas and minority institutions only. This will encourage more to join more theological schools than common schools ,with grants and gadgets used for divisive philosopy than inclusive one. More and more minorities -read muslims-would have joined main stream municipal schools leaving religious education within their homes as the majority of the citizens do. UPA encourages them to remain herded and backward within madrasas only. Open merit based economic creteria would have ensured a generation who assimilates not remain herded. The other sops were only waiting as rewards for the hard work done by enterpreneurs and workers who ensured more than 9 % growth for four years. They had to get cars and scooters applainces etc at a cheaper rates. The finance minister has broken the bounds of the Finance Regulation Boards directives and will fail to achieve most of the objectives he has chalked out for the Madaam Short Sighted, held hostage by disruptive Left forces. The worst aspect of the budget is those who worked the most for the growth have been least rewarded as regions and as constituency too. Gujarat has not got a single national university or a IIT or a IISC when most of its students have to seek higher education outside the state and it itself is open to all. At each point the Budget ,cuts and wounds on body polity of a nation as one is obvious.Only demanding ones, shouters and lazy defaulters have been rewarded for election vote bank politics.
