One more addition to the tally of unsolved murder mystry cases, yes I am talking about the arushi murder case. Like Divya Bharti (bollywood actress) and Sohab Elyasi ( T.V. Anchor), unsolved mystries, in this case as well neither C.B.I. Nor Noida police had hardly got any clue about the culprit nor they are able to recover the weapon used in the murder of an innocent girl. The obvious reason for this is the manner in which noida police has gone about investigating in the gruesome murder case and it certainly pinpoints to loopholes in the police investigation. More shocking was the fact that the police missed a whole dead body at the crime scene

As far as I can understand from the media reports, once the crime was reported by the parents, the police came in, had a look at the body, asked a few questions and when the family servant could not be located they declared that it was an open and shut case. Since many murders in the capital are committed by domestic helpers the police jumped to this conclusion without even going around the house once. A dead body, a missing servant and they decided they had their culprit. What makes their investigating methods even more unbelievable is that they immediately declared a reward of Rs 20, 000 for news leading to the arrest of the servant and sent out teams to Nepal to try and trace him.

After the chaos caused by the noida police the matter was handed over to the C.B.I., with a hope that most trustworthy agency of the counrty will do its best to solve the mystry of arushi murder case. But I think it was too late. I think the culprits have the ample amount of time to do or plan thing according to their own way. It was a complete failure on the part of C.B.I., too when it failed to file a chargesheet within a stipulated period because of lack of evidence against the prime suspects of the arushi murder case. The worst thing about this whole episode is that the weapon used in murder is not recoverd till date.

The recent development, twists and unpredictable turns in investigation clearly indicate the involvement of more than one person in this heinous crime. Majority of people are of the opinion that Krishna and Raj kumar might be scapegoats framed in the case as planned by CBI. Without complete information about findings of the investigation, it is impossible to take a stand on this case and opine whether CBI is acting under political influence or is conducting impartial investigations to know the truth

Assuming the investigations are in the right direction, there are many unanswered questions, for which CBI has to find answers based on hard evidence. Even after ninty days of investigations and very strong interrogation, CBI was not able to recover the weapons used in the crime or conclusively define the motive for the killings. The motive for killing determines whether the crime was a planned, cold blooded and pre-meditated murder or not. The fact that media reports are talking of only one murder weapon - sharp instrument, by which throat was slit, there is a possibility that CBI is purposely diverting media attention so that it can recover the actual murder weapon a heavy object

that was used to smash heads of both victims.

If I am not wrong then every prime suspect of the arushi murder case is out on bail due to failure on the part of C.B.I to file chargesheet within a stipulated time as per the Indian Penal Code or we can say due to lack of substantive evidence agaisnt them. But the investigation seems to be lurching from one blunder to another. The police as well as C.B.I have a theory and what we are seeing right now is a concerted attempt to fit the evidence, much of which is purely circumstantial, to the theory to arrive at a conclusion.

Meanwhile, somewhere out there, the real killers are having a good laugh at this comedy of errors scripted by the Noida police and C.B.I..
