Tata Nano, "The People'S Car Has Arrived

Tata Nano, nick named the “People’s Car” is a city car launched by India’s Tata Motors. It has also been Ratan Tata’s dream car.It is presently the cheapest car in the world which is priced at Rs. 1 lakh. The strategy behind the project was the awareness of the number of Indian families who had two wheeled transport but couldn’t afford a four wheel car and was based on the company’s success in producing the low cost 4 wheeled Ace truck in May 2005. No other car launch in the history of Indian auto industry has received as much global press as the "people's car", the Tata Nano.
