We all want a swift and jam-free life on roads for a perfect drive to our destinations. Yet how many times we are stuck in the traffic and cursing ourselves for taking the wrong routes. But if we are in a country like India where you hardly find less traffic roads then there is surely no reason for you to curse yourself. Infact, we have become so habitaul of all this heavy traffic and crowded roads that instead solving the problems we are finding solutions on "how to beat the traffic or win the race?"

Surprisingly, the innovative people of our country are coming with flying colors with their not so amusing ideas. I see people putting flying gears while driving and breaking all traffic signals and in worst conditions causing severe accidents too. People such as Bikers, Auto-wala's will not care about the pedestrians walking on footpaths running parallel to the roads but scare them to death by driving their vehicles on footpaths. But the worst reason which is causing a lot of problems on the roads is the habit of "NOT KEEPING THE LEFT FREE".

We seriously struggle because of not keeping the left free. How many times you will notice there is a complete jam because of vehicles going straight are on stoppage at red-signal and not keeping the left free for the ones taking the left turn. As a result, though there is no red stoppage for the later and they still get stuck. Hence, we have huge road block causing the time waste for all of us.

It is high time we stop being selfish and once think about keeping ourself in place of the victims who suffered because of us and start moving our vehicle to keep the left free.

Government should test a driver properly while issuing the driving lesson and should have harsh punishments for such criminals.

In the end, for the betterment of our country lets start with such small time-saving and of course fuel saving activities by "KEEPING THE LEFT FREE". So, the next time when you are driving just remember there are people turning left.

1:I completely agree with your comments. The only thing what i hope is let Traffic Police / Police Dept. act properly instead of taking bribes from the fellow commuters, maintain Rules & Regulations and stop harassing the people.
