Parliament as Temple of Democracy
In a country where elected representative worship persons like Rahul Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi all days and all nights, it is difficult to imagine that these elected representative will ever understand the real value of temple of democracy.
In a country where person like Lalu yadav or Mulayam Singh Yadav or Mayawati are worshipped only because they belong to a particular caste or group, we cannot dream of due respect for temples of democracy.
In a country where person like Digvijay Singh, Kapil Sibal and Manish Tiwari are spokesmen of any national political party , we should never expect any good outcome from gang of such politicians who though pretend to be protector of temples of democracy , are really danger to Parliamentary system or to the value of democracy or secularism..
In a country where even media people worship powerful persons of ruling party and where media men blindly support or follow a particular party and where views of other parties are willfully ignored and neglected, where media as a campaign malign the image of some individuals who perform well and on the contrary elevate some individuals even though they are accused of many irregularities, corrupt activities and anti national activities, one should not expect desirable respectability for temples of democracy.
In a country where even CBI, CVC, and Judiciary , more often than not act as agent of some political party or as puppet of ruling party, where one after other stalwarts ( Salma Khursid, Beni Prasad,….)humiliate election commissioner and party do not take any action and election commissioner also think it prudent to remain inactive , one cannot expect due respect for Temples of Democracy.
