Job Profile:
I am a part of Emerging Technology Solutions team of my. I drive a very niche Technology product to combat APT, Zero Day and targeted spear phishing attacks. We supplement traditional and next-generation firewalls, IPS, antivirus gateways which cannot stop advanced threats, leaving security holes.
Career Profile:
Front-end of Emerging Technology Solutions (ETS) team of the organisation. I am responsible for driving very niche technologies in the domain of Network & Security where our focus is to add value to customer's network security by introducing solutions which address current threat landscape like APT.
Degrees That Matter:
I feel that in client facing role, what matters the most is sense of urgency, ownership and commitment. There are lot of corporate Gurus whose session could help you set and accomplish your goals with equal ease. Course in project management and service delivery are added advantage as a prerequisite
Working Life Management:
I like to listen to music or motivational audio books while I travel to work. Like this I am able to make best use of my travel time and keep my hobbies alive. I also make it a point to spend quality time daily with my wife and my son so that I don't miss out on the real essence of life.
Done Differently:
I would have preferably done a course in mass communication to become a great orator. Apart from that, I don't have any qualms about my carer growth.
Plans For The Future:
would like to build and manage strong team of techno-commercial professionals in the organization to understand client's challenges in better way and assist them overcome the same with the help of our technologies and their business values.

Have worked with some of the best organizations in IT. got the Account Manager of the year award in my previous organization for adding revenue and brand value for our offering. I have cracked numerous deals with recurring revenue for my organization. have been able to retain client. never lost any
Changes In The Professional Environment:
The core business of my company since its inception had been IT Hardware system integration. However, over the last few years we have consultative approach with our clients, shifting focus from volume business to niche servies. It's more of value add that we could bring to our client with technology
Growth Strategy:
I am subscribed to many active forums and groups in order to keep pace with the latest on information technology domain. I am also doing an executive MBA in sales and distribution to get better hold and control in my expertise. I also take part in lot of conferences on security startups to hear them
Other Thoughts:
It's very important that when you start your career as an amateur, you don't get carried away or get submissive in your approach. You should also know how to strike the balance between your personal and professional commitments. should Manage your funds carefully. You should be able take smart steps

Dynamics of workforce change everyday these days. You should be a quick learner in order to sustain the pressure, should know how to work with limited resources,should have great time management skills. You should be adaptive to new changes and sometimes unlearn old ideas to welcome new ones.

My inspiration in today's scenario would be great Steve Jobs. I believe it's most important that we have the courage to follow our heart and intuition. They somehow already know what we truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
