Anandkarthick Krishnakumar's Story

The Journey So Far:
2 years so far, have seen both ups and downs (not extreme in both). More than industry, technical, functional knowledge you have to get yourself going with people you work. Mingle with different teams, different leads will give you good width in you perception and that is what important in any field
Job Profile:
I am a Software Engineer, and my role is a developer. As i mentioned i directly interact with client and develop according to the requirement.
The Decisions That Matter
When i got offer letter from Mumbai, i hesitated a lot and had many discussions. But i forced myself to give a try and its worth it now. Coming to Mumbai is the most important decision i have made till now
Career Profile:
Current role involves direct interaction with client, without any superior it is quite challenging to tackle the business requests. I majorly involve in getting requirements, developing accordingly. It is one man job but too much fun
Degrees That Matter:
For my aspiration i am going to pursue MBA
Working Life Management:
It's a challenge but you got to learn it. Keep yourself absolutely productive in office and just work.
Done Differently:
Good question and we always like to restart. I might have learnt more in my earlier stages of my career.
Plans For The Future:
An Entrepreneur
Growth Strategy:
I always keep a checkpoint to myself to measure what am doing (day to day) including work. Always try to learn something, interact with people and to be a successful leader one need to know where, what and how to speak. Read good books that gives you something to achieve your dream. I never give up
Required Reading:
TO innovate you need to find your own way but just to know about stuff, i might recommend Tata MG Hill, Pearson for technical. Forbes (Website), Harvard Business Review and Press (books), Keep yourself updated with internal news letter and interact with others to lift your knowledge. Know more
Role Model:
Many (none in specific). Whoever has the courage to chase their dreams is a fantastic role model to anyone. Starting from HarishChandra to Mark Zuckerberg.
