THINK! THINK! THINK!

THINK different, But, What?

How to stop accidents on the road?

Yes, everyday we read about ACCIDENTS, Is there no solution to it? If yes, then what is it and why it is not being implemented?

Where are the Road Safety Measures? We all analyse how it happened, but then what happens two days there is some safety measure and then
again the same thing is repeated.

These accidents occuring on road is a matter of great concern for all of us.Not a single day passes without reading in the newspapers
about the road mishap. Not a single moment in life of women goes without tension saying 'GHAR AANE THAK JAAN HAATH MEIN.'
Definitely it is showing a sign of improving economy in India by way of increasing vehicles but, it also adds to the road accidents
which definitely is not a good sign for the country.

Our Accident Prevention Committee has actully come up with lot of boards in the accident prone areas, lot of checks for drunken drivers, and
so on.... but we don't want to get it stopped, but rather continue it ...Remember, IF A PROCESS IS MADE LET IT BE MADE TO WALK AND NOT RUN, STANDARDISATION OF PROCESS WILL WORK ON AUTOMATICALLY.

Statistically, if we see there is a large number of increase year by year in the number of accidents. This could be happening by various means.

We all know the reasons...Let's not talk about the reasons but, rather talk about solutions that needs to be implemented.

We can see in the highways where there is a board being put across ( SPEED 40 ), but is this happening....No, Not at all, People driving
just IGNORE these boards. Can we not have a HUGE FINE levied on the person who is driving more than the required speed limit in the highway
or for that matter any place.

Can we not define certain rules as Bikers who ride has to just go in the first lane, Cars should go on the right with a maximum speed limit defined.
Heavy Vehicles to come in a different lane, or in a stipulated time.

Let there be more traffic policemen on the accident prone areas to safeguard people from accidents.

But here we can see all the traffic policemen standing on the Signal for what? - to manage the signal or the traffic. The traffic will anyhow
get managed if Signal is there, and places where there is problem fix the signal with the proper mechanism.

Vehicles who wanna go to the right let them stick to the right and if all of a sudden they realise they had to go to the left let them
go straight and then in the next signal take a left. This could be prevented if there are no cuts in the road partition. what do we
see here is in every road partition there are many cuts which not only increases the traffic but also violates the traffic rules.

Let the Auto-rickshaws go in one lane as they can never take a speed of a car nor of a bike then why come and compete with them.

Hey, Hey, lot of gyan lets just not keep it to us, but let this pass on to the people who needs to know may be to the Accident Prevention
Committee. It's not that they don't know this but just a reminder to let this work on.

Hey, not but the least let no sweepers clean the road when there are lot of vehicles passing by, they might be in danger, afterall they are
one among us.

The most important thing out here is THE ROAD SHOULD BE PROPER, DON'T YOU THINK?, if that is not then what- THINK AGAIN!

So guys, THINK! THINK! THINK!, Now please THINK! on what I wrote on top. Let's do something for this.

We do something good, our vehicles will be brand new, no accidents, and most and foremost we would be safe.

Thanks
Jennifer Isaac

1:To start with I suggest the things must start at school, especially from class 7 to class XII level There shoud be a compulsory subject about road Rules & Regulations, Road Signs, Alertness while driving on Highways/Villages/Cities etc.

Also it must be the responsibility of schools to see to it that their students who are below 18 don't drive & bring automobiles in schools. Plus a necessary classes should be arranged for parents who can be instructed to put checks & balances to their wards about road safety. There should be case studies of the accidents.
