Diwali in a Metro

Yes, Unfortunately It happened to me this time too. I am not going to home town this Diwali. The reason is the same as always, I am an ambitious small city boy who is working in a Metro city, can’t afford 5 days Diwali vacation as the travel time costs much.

It reminds me the Diwali on last year, when all my roommates went to home as their hometown were nearer than mine and they could even enjoy the one day Diwali leave, though they needed to departure early morning next day from Diwali day from their home town, which was very unpleasant moment for them.

It’s Sunday before Diwali, I am just reading some news stuff over web. I have opened my FB (Face book) page. There are enormous wishes are shared for this Diwali season. There are posts shared by my friends who reached home and enjoying the home made Pakvans and sweets.

On the other side, there are some friends who are online, I chatted with them and found these are only the guys who are not in their hometown and people like me who want to know what else is happening in this Diwali season. One way I felt sorry for these guys, but on the other side I got the sympathy that I am not only the one.

I got my plan for Diwali celebration too, when I will have the YouTube aarti with the Goddess’ wallpaper opened in my laptop and the aarti plat with the Diyas will be ready. I can even have crackers sound clip. Yes this is the way by which I will celebrate an E-Diwali.
