Teaching is always regarded as a prestigious career option. This is one of the few professions which also has this noble cause associated with it of framing the future of the country and thus has been regarded as a boon to society. Teaching is also the profession which has the influence in developing one’s mind and character and it also provides the necessary satisfaction in individual’s mind of having sparked the light of knowledge in many young budding talent of the country and take away the clouds of ignorance from their mind and life.
Teaching profession lost its light somewhere in past some decades ago due to limited growth for individuals who wanted to have a career in teaching and financially limited opportunities as compared to various other professions. But now this profession is proving to be as attractive as any other profession and is expected to grow further in the upcoming year 2013 with so many teaching Jobs on offering for the coming year. This is due to the fact that the government of India started to pay more attention on this area with initiatives taken by the government towards education in the 6th pay commission. This resulted in tremendously increased the job opportunities in teaching profession since then.
The success of teaching profession depends highly on one’s intelligence, wisdom and patience as it deals not only in imparting education to children but making them learn the values that are must for Indian society. A passion is required for exchange of ideas, whether it is teaching at a school or in a college. The demand for good teachers is definitely high from the past few years considering the fact that today children are required to get exposed to the internet and the information overflow. Moreover, virtual classroom teaching has started being introduced in a no. of schools all across the country, which has definitely increased the overall opportunities for teachers.
The youth of our country have now realised the impact of education towards economic development of our country and so they have started working for removing education inequity in the country. So, with increasing job opportunities, the competition is also increasing for getting teaching jobs as more and more people are taking interest in this sector, the main reason being the secure professional career and regular annual vacations. Further, it is also proving to be a second career for those who have retired from professional services.
