It is a security force to secure the ocean borders of India. Indian navy has the fifth place in all over countries. At the time of recruitment, Indian Navy selects the candidates on the bases of Merit list. The Recruitment Notification can be found in the Employment News papers or online job portals. It only selects the Indian Youth men or women both between the ages of 18 to 25 years. Technical Students of 12th and graduation can also join Indian Navy for technical department to maintain of the submarine, ships, etc. UPSC is the recruitment agency which conducts the exam for Indian Navy recruitment. The Selection of Candidates goes on the bases of written exam and SSB Interview. Every Year UPSC conducts the exam of NDA or CDS to choose the staff for Indian Army.

The selection which is not taken by UPSC gives the chance to the candidates for making a part of Indian Navy. In which Process, they are selected at a limited time period of 4 to 10 years. No requirement of the written test is the good thing, but it is for those candidates who have good percentage in their 12th or graduation. After this process of merit list selection, those candidates are called for an SSB Interview in the Army forced centers such as Delhi, Bangalore, Roorkee, Dehradun, etc. In this selection process, SSB takes a tough interview of 5-6 rounds to choose better candidate.

 Indian Naval Academy organizes the written exam twice in the year to recruit the young age candidates under UPSC. These selections are done for the life time service in the Indian Navy. After conducting NDA exam and CDS exam, UPSC makes a merit list to choose the candidates for the SSB interview. Thus Indian Navy Recruits the candidates to survive lots of responsibilities.
