Would like to share a concern with you, 2 days back I went to receive some guest from Domestic Airport and I felt that our Delhi Airport is still weak and have loopholes in security.

I was coming from Dhaula Kuan side and took the airport flyover and then passing the circle, I took a left turn for Terminal B, I encountered the one and only check post of police barricade, where the 3 police men were standing and looking at the people driving in. Passing that barricade I am in the Airport Arrival and Departure area in my car. Hundred of travelers on the airport

The main threat to security is here. Entering the airport area at the barricade should be strong enough were the security personal take thorough checking of the car people. Any one in a segment A or B car looking well dressed or authentic can also be a possible threat.

After incident like Mumbai, it’s important not only to track the bomb threats, but also stopping the individuals who can be armed with automatic weapons and can do damage as same as bombs

I am writing this as I felt that security need to be tightened for the access to airport and also extensive checking of the car before they are parked. We cannot work on assumption that people in big cars and SUV’s are no threat. Let’s not take things for granted.

Hope strong action will be taken
