Firefox, Facebook & Twitter are leading applications used on Internet!

Now, here are some key findings on most popular applications used on Internet. This survey is carried out by Wakoopa, a software-oriented social network. The survey says, Facebook and Mozilla are the applications used most across different platforms. I don’t agree with it fully.

IE1

It adds, Twitter clients Tweetdeck and Twhirl are continuing to see strong usage and growth. The report also says that, the most popular newcomer among Twitter clients, as well as overall applications, for the Mac is Destroy Twitter. God only knows, what these weird things are! I have yet to login into Twitter! I feel this survey was carried, based on data gathered from US. Of course alien comes first there, with alien inventions with them. The site also claims that, the numbers are in sync with the web usage data reported by others research companies as well. But they are keeping mum on which are these research companies?

Now here comes one more revelation about browser usage: Google Chrome is making significant impact on browser market, with whopping 15% usage across all countries and age groups. Very funny! I am suspicious about this figure! Within few months of launch, Chrome has gained significant market...how come? That’s something astounding. People might be more than happy after reading it. After all IE's share is eaten up na! People just hate MS! They just hate monopoly of IE over browser market! Survey also adds that Opera Browser (Incidently today i.e. 29th Apr is the 15th B'day of Opera Bowser! Happy B'day to you Opera!), has highest adoption levels in Europe, by comparison.

IE2

One last part of the survey reports age-wise application usage, which says that among surveyed age groups, Firefox is the most popular application as compared to MS IE. This is something doubtful. If it is the case, then MS must be checking the issues with IE.
