Election 2009: These are the days of election fever and every politician is suffering through it. Many have started showing symptoms of high fever. You might have noticed some ads flooding over web saying “XYZ for PM”. I feel sad for that, because this act once again proves that we Indians always try to blindly copy things from west or make something which is in some way Indian version of an American thing. I strongly think that people here feel proud in “Importing Ideals”. Same disease has attacked our this leader who is just dying to be a PM. Many politicians and their MBA consultants in India got inspired by campaign of 'the great Obama' for presidential elections in Amarika. And I am not very sure about - are these people impressed with what he does and what he speaks. I think this leader of ours don’t know India is not a presidential democracy and India doesn’t need only a good PM but a complete perfect team of visionary leaders under a visionary and strong PM. He and his consultants think only modifying "Obama for president" to "XYZ for PM" will make his life time dream come true. My free advice to him, please don’t project yourself, project the team that you have. Hope he acts upon it.

In situation like this India needs a visionary who can take nation to another level in such economic scenario where many things are unstable and even not clear to economic theories also. Now India needs team of leaders who can dream big for nation and make it true through their efforts. It needs a leader who knows who can fit where. India needs a leader who can take strong decisions on security front, who can keep head high while talking to president of Amarika. India needs a leader who can warn neighbors and if required show them army forces.

Let’s start analyzing choices we have for this post to find a person with great individual capabilities  and team which works in sync with him and under pressure too. We have in the line self claimed would be PM Mayawati Ji, aggressively approaching Advani Ji and their in house competitor Narendra Modi, willing/unwilling (confused) PM Dr. Manmohan Ji, LaLu Ji and SharadchandraPawar. You believe or not, but this is the set from which we are to get the person for the post of PM. Let’s see who has what.

Maywati Ji: I appeal citizens of India please don’t choose such a terrific and crazy leader, otherwise our coming generations will curse us everyday! Do you think leader like this can think of the economic growth? What India wants is to get out from this recession somehow, create more job opportunities to here in India, have a sustained and inclusive growth for nation. She is not the person who can do it. How can she do that, if she spends all her time  and money (a public property) on mounting her own statues. She claims votes in the name of  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, has she ever followed this great leader? The greatest defeat of  Babasaheb's  thinking is done by people like her and they still claim to be leaders of  “Dalit Movement”. I don’t think hers is a movement that Ambedkar wanted for the Dalits to follow. She must have sanyas from politics and think over it - is she doing what Ambedkar wanted?

Advani Ji and Narendra Modi Ji: No Fundamentalists Should  Be Allowed To Rule This Secular  Nation! Though they claim that they are not fundamentalist, They Are! I will not waste my time describing them and how they can’t do what this nation needs now. India knows it very well. We have seen the Naked and Hungry children begging on streets when these people were shouting “Shining India-Shining India” on the same streets  and we also saw "Burning India". So we are wise to decide on it.

Manmohan Singh Ji: He is a great human being, very good Finance Minister and a good administrator. But he is soft, sufficiently kind and insufficiently strong for the post of PM (I am not pointing his in-capabilities, but he can bring very good days to Indian Economy). He can surely be part of the next team!

LaLu Ji: Many people point out what he did for railways, for them please remember what he did with Bihar and Chara.

Sharad Pawar: At this point we have understood whose team (not who) India needs. This is leader who can manage all those best people whom new India looks with hope. I see he is a visionary capable for Prime Minister of India post. He don’t know me and I am not member of any political party. I am just a common man who is searching for a person whom I can recruit as a leader of my nation. Sharad Pawar is good at interpersonal relations which you might have guessed from the role he played in the Confidence motion happened for nuclear deal last time (in non corrupt sense). He has friends in every file/sector like business, literature, academia and sports. He is strong enough,he is kind enough, in all he is perfect for the post. His experience from Agricultural ministry and his knowledge about the rural India (Which I think none of the above contestants have as much as him) will definitely help in strengthening our domestic market, bring in  inclusive growth and set up a self sustainable Indian economy. His international identity ( please refer cricket, Bill Gates visit to the Baramati -his constituency and many other examples of his international identity (pohach) can be given) will definitely take us a step ahead in international scenario as a nation and a culture. He is an entrepreneur, he is passionate about work; he works for 15 hours a day (for the people). He is one of the very few leaders who know more than their secretaries. He is the one who has seen Indian politics from the grass root level and that's why the political thereat to government won't be a issue while taking decisions in favor of people  and common masses. I remember a story I read about him, when as as youth activist he used to visit government offices daily on bicycle for sanctioning scholarships of needy students whom he personally never knew, can any one do this without any passion in belly for the social cause? He is the one who brought people from every strata of society to parliament, to state assembly and main stream power positions. I remember he was one who supported naming of “Marathwada University” in Aurangabad to “Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University”. He is true visionary leader with innovation in brain, compassion in heart and passion in belly. No doubt he can take India to a next step on Social and Economic fronts  without making imbalance.

With this I appeal/request all of you reading this blog post to think seriously about the future of nation, for that think of the right candidate to do that well. I specially request UPA leaders to think beyond politics and parties to put him forward as a Leader of Nation. Also I request you people to create a situation where UPA has to do this. Now you know what you have to do.

Disclaimers:

1.  I am not a member of NCP or any political party

2. I am not paid by any one to write this (I care and love my nation and I think it’s my responsibility to play a role, even aggressive role, in giving it in the best hands

3. This post is outcome of my observations and it is completely my personal opinion. It has nothing to do with my friends, family and organization

4. The purpose of post is not at all to force people to vote for NCP. It’s you who is going to make the final decision and that to correct one.

And an important Reuest: Remember to Vote.

COMMENTS from reader on e-mail:

"I would like to bring to the notice of people one of the MOST important thing.
We do not have the right to choose a candidate for the elections. We can only choose between the selected candidates provided by the political parties. And if some people do not like either of the candidates, they do not vote at all. It is not necessary that we should vote only when there is a very good candidate. Practically, non-corrupt candidates are almost extinct from the Indian politics. So we should instead select the one who is less corrupt or better in the available options. Not voting does not help in any way. Infact it is good for those corrupt candidates, as they will ask someone else to cast a bogus vote in your name. Also in any case, one of the candidate is going to win the election even if you do not vote. So I think that the first thing we should do is to vote and not staying at home, cursing the politicians. The best thing to do is that we should compare the candidates and select the one who is less corrupt.
But in any case. CAST YOUR VOTE!

Similarly in the above case;
I do not want to get into the matter if Mr.Sharad Pawar is a corrupt or non-corrupt politician. But if compared to the other available options. There is no doubt that he is the best. I am with you Prakash Pimpale.
This is a good job you have done!
And the Disclaimers that you have given are same for me as
well."
