Brother-Brother (Chor-Chor Mosera Bhai)

Assistant Manager
Two news catches my eyes yesterday and I thought let me share something special with you. Three days before I have written one poem on Bhopal Gas Tragedy. In that I have clearly mentioned that some of Indian Govt officers and politician were involved and now it’s no more secret. In newspaper you can read that State Govt. and Centre Govt both were trying to save Anderson. It’s a shame for us but it’s a routine culture of our politics. Let me Discuss two different incidents with you one by one after that you will decide what has happened and who were responsible for all these.

Bhopal Gas Tragedy.

The main accused Anderson is living life in USA with his wife. He is living this life just because of our so-called true politician. Everybody knows that they are always worried for them self not for the nation. So they have arranged a private plane to save him on the same day and gave him lots of respect. I do not know why? however I am sure that you all are know the reasons. Just to remind you one incident where four people were died in flood in Rajasthan. They could be saved if any help govt. would have provide them. At that time State Govt and Centre Govt official were just sitting in front of TV and watching them to be died. But here the case was totally different the person was so special and rich also so they have arranged everything and saved him. One more thing this was happened when we did not have such facilities which we have now. The four people died now in Rajasthan and everybody was just watching TV because they were common people. In last Just read some fact and figure about it.

1) In state and Centre both we had Congress party Govt at that time. So whatever they claim now it can not be ignored that only Congress leaders were responsible for safe passage.

2) After the accident, no one under the age of 18 was registered. The number of children exposed to the gases was at least 200,000.

3) Immediate relief was decided two days after the tragedy.

4) Widow pension of the rate of Rs 200/per month (later Rs 750) was provided.

5) One-time ex-gratia payment of Rs 1,500 to families with monthly income Rs 500 or less was decided.

6) Each claimant was to be categorized by a doctor. In court, the claimants were expected to prove "beyond reasonable doubt" that death or injury in each case was attributable to exposure. In 1992, 44 percent of the claimants still had to be medically examined.

7) From 1990 interim relief of Rs 200 was paid to everyone in the family who was born before the disaster.

8) The final compensation (including interim relief) for personal injury was for the majority Rs 25,000 (US$ 830). For death claim, the average sum paid out was Rs 62,000.

9) Effects of interim relief were more children sent to school, more money spent on treatment, more money spent on food, improvement of housing conditions.

10) The management of registration and distribution of relief showed many shortcomings.

11) In 2007, 1,029,517 cases were registered and decided. Number of awarded cases was 574,304 and number of rejected cases 455,213. Total compensation awarded was Rs.1,546.47 crores.

12) Because of the smallness of the sums paid and the denial of interest to the claimants, a sum as large as Rs 10 billion is expected to be left over after all claims have been settled. (Instead of paying from own pocket Govt. tried to save money)

Union Carbide has paid huge amount as per settelment. Here is the list which UCIC has paid.

1)Carbide put $2 million into the Indian Prime Minister's immediate disaster relief fund on 11 December 1984.

2)The corporation established the Employees' Bhopal Relief Fund in February 1985, which raised more than $5 million for immediate relief.

3)In August 1987, Carbide made an additional $4.6 million in humanitarian interim relief available.

4)Union Carbide also undertook several steps to provide continuing aid to the victims of the Bhopal disaster after the court ruling, including: The sale of its 50.9 percent interest in UCIL in April 1992 and establishment of a charitable trust to contribute to the building of a local hospital. The sale was finalized in November 1994. The hospital was begun in October 1995 and was opened in 2001.

5)The company provided a fund with around $90 million from sale of its UCIL stock.

6)In 1991, the trust had amounted approximately $100 million. The hospital caters for the treatment of heart, lung and eye problems.

7) Providing "a $2.2 million grant to Arizona State University to establish a vocational-technical center in Bhopal, which was constructed and opened, but was later closed and leveled by the government".

8)Donating $5 million to the Indian Red Cross.

As per my opinion if Govt. has settled everything out of court than how they can ask that Anderson should be punished. As per law it’s not possible and we have already loosed the right to blame USA and Anderson. He is more than 80 years old now and could be died at any point of time so no use to waste money on him. I know that even after spending money on case we will never see Anderson in India. If you are not agree with me than see the history yaar.

2nd Case (Purulia arms drop case)

The Purulia arms drop case was an infamous incident in which unauthorized arms were dropped from an Antonov An-26 aircraft in Purulia district in the state of West Bengal in India on 17 December 1995 The crew of the aircraft consisted of five Latvian citizens and Peter Bleach, a British citizen Peter and an ex Special Air Service operative and British intelligence officer who was based in Yorkshire and involved in arms dealing. [4] They were arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment while alleged kingpin Niels Christian Nielsen (aka Kim Peter Davy), a Danish citizen and member of the Ananda Marga group[5], escaped. Later, an Interlope red notice was issued against him. Following the intervention of Russian authorities, the Latvian crew (who gained Russian citizenship while in Indian custody) were later pardoned and released in 2000. Peter Bleach, too, was released on 4 February 2004, via a presidential pardon, allegedly due to persistent British pressure. In 2007 Denmark authorities traced Kim Davy, and it is possible he may be extradited to India for trial.

This all was happened when we had BJP Govt. in Center. So this was the true face of BJP. In last all the political parties are the same whatever may be their manifesto but their main motto is to earn money make people fool. If you think the new commetie will do any thing for justice than forget about it. All the 10 minister who are in the committe will just ask more money from UCIC and share. The BJP leadres are crying not for the people but yes they are crying beacuse they do not have share in that money. At the end Brother-Brother (chor-chor Mossera Bhai)

Thanks
