Is Dr.Kiran Bedi a better choice than Mr.Gopinath of Air deccan to be the people's representative?
The current political scenario with elections nearing, I would like to express my feelings about being a voter,that who should contest elections?Will a retired police officer with lot of admiration and power should contest the election or a business tycoon like Capt.Gopinath?We had enough and more from the cult we call politicians who had ruled and is still fighting for causes and concerns for their own selfish needs.What is the criterion for a candidate to be elected as a people's representative. If I am asked to chose between the two i would always prefer Dr.Kiran Bedi rather than Capt.Gopinath. The reason why is because a person like Kiran Bedi can handle a simple wrong doer to a hardcore criminal in the political scene and can bring in some reforms, how to restructure the existing regulations which we absolutely need after all this terror attacks and nightmares.It is not just to empower women power but it is just to ensure the safety of the society by effective actions which none of the Governments can handle.It is simply and purely a matter of safeguarding the nation rather than commercialising the nation with ideals of religion and Hindutva. At this juncture, we need a effective representative of people who can ensure us a peaceful life and expect the same kind of demeanor from our fellow beings.Who would you suggest can govern us better?
