Induct a new educational structure at IGNOU

Prof M Aslam, Vice Chancellor of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), inaugurate a new educational structure of 6,000 square meters to provide 11 schools of the university. The building, including ground, first and second surfaces, has been designed in association with RITES Ltd.

The vice chancellor passed over the place allotment letters to the administrators of seven colleges to switch in the new developing. The seven schools were: School of Gender and Development Studies (SOGDS), School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS), School of Translation Studies and Training (SOTST), School of Foreign Languages (SOFL), School of Vocational Education and Training (SOVET), School of Extension and Development Studies (SOEDS) and School of Performing and Visual Arts (SOPVA).

Along with the place for 11 colleges, the developing has the supply for 14 class areas, two panel areas and six storage areas with a cafeteria.

According to the Chief Project Officer (CPO) of the university, Sudheer Reddy, the developing has been accomplished in time and is well-equipped with all the features needed for effective performing of the Schools.
