From 2013, admission to colleges like Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and Sydenham Institute of Management Studies will be based on percentile scored by students in the centrally conducted Common Management Admission Test (CMAT).

While the All India Council of Technical Education started CMAT from this academic year, more than a few states will be adapting to the new testing pattern.
