Seeking a ban on the cheer girl dance at Barabati stadium in Cuttack during the IPL matches scheduled in March, Kalinga Sena today opposed playing with Australian in the state. "We will oppose Australian players here as our children have been victims to racial attacks in their country," Sena president Hemanta Rath told reporters here.

Sena, which came to the limelight after launching an attack on the then Team India coach Greg Chapel in 2007, threatened that its activists would create trouble during IPL matches in Cuttack if the outfit's four-point charter of demands were not filled.

Kalinga Sena's demands also included allotment of 50 per cent of tickets for people belonging to the state and a clarification from BCCI and OCA (Orissa Cricket Association) for not giving a chance to Oriya players in the Duleep Trophy match.

Rath claimed that his organisation had also opposed a proposed cheer girl dance at Barabati stadium during an ODI between India and Sri Lanka in December last year.

"The OCA had to abandon idea of making cheer girl provision at Barabati stadium in the December ODI due to Kalinga Sena protest," Rath claimed.
