Narendra Modi is a seasoned politician whereas Rahul Gandhi is a budding politician. According to the Free Dictionary, seasoned politician is one who is actively involved in politics, especially party politics;one who seeks personal or partisan gain, often by scheming and maneuvering;one who is skilled or experienced in the science or administration of government.

Narendra Modi is an orator speaking to the audience. Rahul is a speaker speaking to the people. It is reported in the media that during the recently held Patna rally, people had climbed onto roofs and terraces of high rise buildings adjoining the venue. They had even jumped onto Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the entrance of the ground. Every corner was taken. Chants of "Modi, Modi" filled the air. However, amidst loud cheering from 8,000-odd crowd at the Kalamandir Ground in Mangolpuri in northwest Delhi, a Congress stronghold, Rahul spoke to the people of Delhi.

Narendra Modi knows apt words to attack his opponents. Rahul stumbles in his words and speaks something like a baby without premeditation. Words come from his heart. Narendra Modi speaks from a high pedestal of crusade against corruption, terrorism and misrule Rahul speaks from a low pedestal of crusade against poverty, unemployment and exploitation of tribals.

Narendra Modi roars like a lion but is perceived as a cunning wolf by Congress. Rahul roars like a lion but is perceived as a goat by the BJP. In this photo, you can see the company of a lion with a wolf. A goat is not a match for the lion!

Narendra Modi is seen as the mighty Goliath armed to the teeth. Rahul is seen as the fearful David who was not willing to fight but ultimately David won the battle against the mighty Goliath through some ordinary pebbles which were found inappropriate by the warriors. Goliath lost the battle because of his arrogance. Rahul uses mere pebbles to hit his opponent as he does not know to use weapons.

Modi has the will power, capacity to work hard, dedication and sincerity. I did compare him with the mighty Goliath. Goliath rose to the stature of a giant by virtue of his hard work and dedication. Goliath was also from the ordinary family of warriors. He was not a royal descendant. Similarly, Modi hailed from an ordinary family. About David, though he was from the royal family, the young David did not become the king by virtue of his birth as he was a shepherd boy. He became the King only after defeating the mighty Goliath. Similarly, Rahul has not become the Prime Minister so far.
