.COMPUTING FACILITIES
The Institution has a state-of-the-art computer network connecting over 600 computers in the campus. The computers are connected using a Optical fibre cables. Out of 600 computers, 250 are IBM Thinkcentre systems & others are HP Systems with latest configuration.
The entire computer network is controlled by 3 IBM x-series servers with xeon processors and 4 HP proliant G5 servers. All servers have RAID Lavel 5 configuration to ensure Safety of data.LECTURE HALLSAll the class rooms in the campus are equipped with digital projectors and SMART Boards. They also have access to the computer network.
INTERNET
The entire campus has access to a high speed internet connection (10 MBPS ) powered by AIRCELL. A separate lab has been set up for students for accessing internet.
PLACEMENT SERVICES @ GAT
THE LIBRARY
College has a state-of the-art Library with a collection of more than 21000 books, 236 technical journals (69 Indian and 167 International), 2190 CDs, 300 Floppy disks, etc.; Library is located in a central place of the college building occupying an area of 540 Sq meters. Entire document collection is computerized using Libsoft package. Library has a server and five client PC's. The databases of Library are accessible to the PCs in the campus through LAN. Accessibility means you can conduct search on any subject and make reservations using individual ID and Password
GAT plays an active role in finding full-time job placements for students, through its job placement service or events such as the on-campus recruitment, pool campus placement drive, on-site placement assistance etc. The GAT also organizes talks and seminars on employment opportunities and trends for students and organizes events for students and graduates to meet representatives of prospective employers.

One of the most serious mandates of the Global academy of technology is to make the dreams of all its students come true by placing them in the best of the companies.
To improve the employability of the students, the college has a exclusive placement cell manned by a highly experience person and a team who constantly watch and wait for the smallest of the opportunity to invite these companies to recruit our students.
Of the several measures taken to improve the employability, the colleague has a training team who train the students on most competency test conducted by most companies as placement test and interviews. This internal training has improved our placement record appreciably and made the students satisfied.
Since inception the department of placement and training has successfully provided adequate opportunities to all eligible students to be placed in sought after companies like Infosys, Keane, Satyam, Wipro, L&T Infotech, L&T, Perot System, Accenture, Mind Tree, Mphasis, iGATE, Subex Azure, Sonata, GXS, Tata Elxi, IBM, Siemens, Iflex, Cap Gemini, Sapient, Birla Soft, Global Edge more such companies each year.
There have been many companies who are playing stipend for several students who have and are coming out note working final year projects.
Being identified as one of few colleges of excellence, Global Academy of Technology conducts “Campus Connect” programme with MOA with Infosys. A similar programme is also conducted in association with L&T InfoTech. These programmes not-only enhance the technical competency but also heavily enhance their employability.
